Only an adult may create an account. A parent or legal guardian must add, book for, and manage a minor learner. Children under 13 must not submit information directly.
Families and minors
This notice explains how the platform handles information about learners under 18 and the choices available to parents and legal guardians.
Effective September 4, 2026Only an adult may create an account. A parent or legal guardian must add, book for, and manage a minor learner. Children under 13 must not submit information directly.
We request a preferred name, age or grade band, learning goals, time zone, bookings, session summaries, and safety or support records. We do not need a child’s home address, government ID, precise location, contacts, or advertising profile.
Parents may provide limited learner-profile details. Under-13 lesson requests and checkout are blocked until the Academy reviews a parent-signed consent form returned by electronic scan or mail and records consent for that learner. A checkbox, email verification or payment alone does not complete parental verification. This public summary is not a substitute for the complete direct notice at /parental-consent. Read, print and sign that notice and return the form to support@weprospereai.com or the business mailing address. No video call is required for this signed-form method. Do not let a child submit information or attend before verification is complete.
During the pilot, recording lessons, publicly sharing minors’ work or images, and entering their personal information into AI tools are prohibited. Use fictional data and teacher-controlled demonstrations. Tool listings are examples, not permission for children to create accounts. Never share learner passwords or API keys. Guardians should know the tools and attend or remain available during a minor’s session. External recording or copying cannot be technically prevented by this platform.
Use Learner permissions & privacy in your account, or email support, for access, correction, deletion, withdrawal or appeal. Withdrawing learner permission in your account immediately blocks new requests, checkout and further platform delivery of lesson links. Staff must separately cancel existing Calendar/Meet events, review payments and address data already shared. Previously emailed links cannot be recalled by a dashboard change. Deletion requests are reviewed by staff, not automatically completed when submitted; limited records may be retained for a documented legal obligation.
Collect only what is necessary for the stated purpose. Routine notes, inactive profiles and rejected applications undergo manual retention review at least every 90 days, with deletion or de-identification when no longer needed. This is not an automatic purge. Financial and legal-hold records are reviewed separately and do not justify indefinite retention of children’s information. See the Privacy Policy for the retention and provider-copy process.
