For instructors
These terms summarize instructor standards. Sign the full pilot agreement in your instructor account; an authorized company representative must countersign. Screening and profile approval remain separate. The pilot agreement is owner-authorized and has not been reviewed by an attorney.
Service fee updated September 10, 2026 · applies to new bookings after this updateTeacher payments are sent manually through PayPal every Friday for the previous Monday–Sunday’s completed lessons, using Pacific Time (America/Los_Angeles). Lesson completion and successful student payment must be confirmed before payout. Refunds, disputes, or missing payout details may delay payment. Friday is the payment-sending date, not a guaranteed arrival date.
Instructors control the subjects, teaching approach, availability, and listed rate, subject to safety and marketplace standards. Classification depends on applicable law; this label does not override employment law.
For new bookings, the platform retains 25% of the listed lesson price and the instructor receives 75% before any applicable adjustments. This fee is included in the listed price, not added on top. Existing bookings keep their recorded payout amounts.
Stripe processes the family’s payment at booking. After the lesson ends and completion is confirmed, the platform sends the recorded instructor share to the PayPal email provided by the instructor, on the weekly schedule described here. PayPal controls delivery, account eligibility, and withdrawal timing. Refunds, disputes, chargebacks, taxes, payout-provider review, and legally required withholding may delay, reduce, reverse, or offset a payment. Instructors are responsible for keeping their payout email and tax information accurate.
Identity, credentials, references, interview, and teaching demonstration may be reviewed. Any third-party background report requiring legal authorization will use a separate disclosure and consent process. Applicants receive any legally required pre-adverse and adverse-action notices.
No unapproved private contact, secret communication, sexual content, grooming behavior, discrimination, harassment, or off-platform payment. Guardian access and platform records must be maintained. Safety concerns must be reported promptly.
Instructor access to learner information is limited to delivering the booked service. Do not download, reuse, train models on, market to, or disclose learner information. Respect learner and third-party intellectual property and use properly licensed materials.
Profiles and changes require approval. Only reviews tied to completed bookings may be presented as verified. The platform may request remediation, pause a profile, withhold disputed amounts where permitted, or end access for safety, fraud, serious misconduct, or repeated unreliability.
